Honor the Dream “1884”
Making Disciples of Jesus Christ
For the Transformation of the World

The year 1884 was when the first Methodist minister was appointed to the Antelope Valley. The dream then, as it is now, "Making Disciples of Jesus Christ.“ From those early years and two different Church sites in the old downtown area, the Methodist congregation moved to our present location in 1954. The first structures on this site included John Wesley Hall and the Children’s education building. These facilities are now sixty-six years old.
This year the Church will offer a new, welcoming, and perpetual opportunity to remember (Christ’s great commission to go and make disciples) and honor your loved ones past and present.
Our Church will be constructing a commemorative area highlighted with the cross and surrounded by laser enhanced bricks. The above picture is subject to minor changes. These bricks (pictured above) can be purchased and labeled to honor or remember a loved one, an individual, or an organization of your choice. The laser inscribed bricks will be available for $250.00 each. The Brick Garden's initial installation will be funded by the family of Shirley Sayles and friends and family of Bryan Swords.
Funds above the cost and installation of the commemorative bricks will be used to repair and maintain these aging facilities.
We encourage people to respond with haste as the Church will benefit if your request is included with the bricks' initial order.
