UMW Fall Boutique to also help Footprints Christian Children Center.
June 22, 2010

The United Methodist Women are sponsoring a Boutique again on Saturday October 16th, and we would like to have another table for Footprints.  In order to prepare materials and make items, we are planning on having 4 workshop days over the next four months.  At our first workshop, we will spend a little bit of time brain storming ideas, viewing some sample projects, and making choices.  Some ideas include: aprons; “jazzy” flip flops; different “bling” for hair accessories; bird houses; ceramic/mosaic flower pots; table runners;  floral designs;  tote bags and purses; fall and Christmas decorations; diaper bags and coordinated items; baby quilts; and “Your idea here!”  100% of the proceeds will go to Footprints Christian Children’s Center to be used as the Board determines.

If you have a talent in a specific area and would like to either help the team make several of your items, or you would like to donate some items to our effort, just give me a call.  Also, we need several people who can sew, who can take projects home and work on them.  For more information, as well as reserving a spot on a certain workday, call Karen Wurfel at 538-1296.
