I'm New....

Lancaster United Methodist church is a congregation of many diverse individuals, united in the love and power of Jesus Christ.

We come from many different parts of the country and world, and have a great variety in our backgrounds and interests.  We enjoy differences in worship styles... but we see ourselves united into one Body, brothers and sisters together with Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

As humans, we are all imperfect in many ways, but we are also committed to becoming more faithful as disciples of Jesus Christ.  Our hope and desire is to grow deeper in God's love with God and with all those around us.
Toward that end, we seek to be people who place a great priority on our relationship with God and in all that we do.

We are dedicated to prayer and worship, to growth and education, to reaching out into the world working for the good.

In all things we seek to know Jesus.  We seek to be built up in Him, and discern God's holy will in leading our lives.

We recognize that faithful Christian discipleship involves both personal intimacy with God, and faithful service in the world.

To that end we are determined to know more about Christ and to make Him known through us.  We seek to be Biblical in our beliefs, passionate in our worship, and sacrificial in our living.

It is our serious and sincere desire to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others as we love ourselves.
