Megumi Kai has been part of Lancaster United Methodist Church for 30 years, and is the only Japanese worship in the Antelope Valley. We have about 20 regular attendees to the service, where we read scriptures and sing hymns in Japanese. We also have a monthly potluck on every third Sunday, where we get to interact with many brothers and sisters in Christ.
Begun in the 1950's, Megumi Kai has been a new home for those with a Japanese cultural background in the Antelope Valley. The worship services and all the other events are in Japanese with english translation available.
The Rev. Abe Shiraiwa, an ordained Presbyterian minister, is currently serving the members of Megumi Kai as the give thanks to God and live as followers of Jesus Christ.

礼拝だけでなく、
毎月第三週めにポットラックをもち、
キリストに至兄弟姉妹と触れ合い、
日本食を楽しく食べる場を持っています。
新年会やクリスマスパーティーなど
色々おもしろ楽しく
キリストの恵みを伝道して行く事が
私達の目標です。
